About Us
Hornby Lake Estate as a rental property and special event venue was established in 2021 but there has been decades of love breathed into this manor and on these lands before this all began.

The vintage styled home itself was built in the 90s using repurposed materials and decor from heritage homes in Vancouver. The floors, the doorknobs and much of its decor are repurposed treasures that the Hornby family carefully collected over the years. The estate grounds have been lovingly nurtured for decades alongside an abundance of bird and wildlife. Every acre is divine, from our large private lake, to our family of billowing willow trees, to our rows and rows of blueberry bushes nestled between grand mountaintops that feel so close you could touch them.

Our Approach
We believe your special day should be all about you. We're not here to "package" couples into cookie cutter options. We're here to provide a spectacular backdrop and offer additional support and options as needed to bring your vision to life.
We love it when couples bring in their own wedding planner to truly customize their special day on our property. Whether it's string lights, bamboo chairs, or picnic banquet style reception, we are all for it! We can accomodate up to 50 guests for your event and can house up to 20 overnight in our heritage manor and cabin combined.
